The School Day
Gates open at 8.40am and Lessons start at 9:00am. Pupils are immediately registered and
details taken of whether they are having school meals or packed lunch. In order to ensure that
all children are able to start the day promptly parents are asked to ensure that children are in
school on time.
The school day is slightly different depending upon the age of the pupils concerned.

Travelling to School
To ensure the safety of the children in school we ask parents to co-operate with the school in
the following ways:
• To observe the yellow zig-zag markings on the road outside the school.
• To utilise the town car-park opposite the school at the beginning and end of the day.
• The use of the school car park to deposit or collect children is strictly forbidden.
Please note that this is a staff car park only.
• No child is allowed to leave the school during the day unless accompanied by an adult.
• Parents collecting their children during the day should report to the School Office
beforehand.
• To cross using the appropriate crossings.
• No dogs on the school site.
