Admissions
Plasnewydd Primary School mainly serves the catchment area immediately surrounding the
school and town centre. Plasnewydd Primary School has a Nursery unit providing part-time
education for pupils the term after their third birthday (Pre-Nursery) and full time education
in the year of their fourth birthday (Nursery year). Bridgend County Borough Council are the
admissions authority - all admissions are received and awarded by the local authority. In the
event of applications exceeding the places available, priority will be determined in accordance
with the oversubscription criteria defined in the Council9s
